"There's nobody I'd trust more to head off into Europe and get THE shot." Matt Hunkin - Senior Group Art Editor / Future Publishing
“Jesse ran our MY2014 photo shoot in Spain and came back with some incredible imagery. His skills were impressive in capturing both beautiful, well lit product shots, and also some very nice candid lifestyle and portrait photographs."

What began as an outlet for channelling untapped artistic energy in the early 90s has become my life's work. Photography has led me to some truly inspirational people and places; to capturing moments in time and preserving little pieces of this world for generations to come.
In 1993, I began assisting on editorial and advertising shoots in London. From there, I found my way into the dark room where a zeal for photography awoke. My first proper shoot was with restaurateur Tom Conran for The Evening Standard, and since then I've photographed everyone and everything from Slash to Bradley Wiggins, and from teapot cosies to pro custom riding bikes.
A full-time freelance photographer, although I'm based in the South West of the UK, I travel all over the world and relish the opportunity to visit new places. Style wise, I work digitally and am fluent in manipulation techniques, often shooting with post production concepts.
My main areas are portraits, music, cycling and arts and crafts. People with passion and care for what they do – craftspeople and artisans prove to be the most enchanting subjects, so naturally I'm drawn to working with them.
